Locum Consultant in Asthma and Respiratory Medicine/GIM

The postholder will provide specialist Severe Asthma clinics (at Guys hospital), ward reviews for in-patients with Asthma, provide support the Asthma MDT, contribute to MDTs, and bronchoscopy lists (1 in 3). There will be opportunities for cross-site working at Royal Brompton Hospital. Clinical research is embedded within the GSTT Severe Asthma service and the postholder will be expected to work alongside clinical research colleagues. The postholder may also be asked to contribute to General Internal Medicine including unselected acute medical take during weeks on the acute admissions ward, and the specialist Respiratory ward within the advertised PA allocation.
