West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. The successful lecturer will be part of the Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment faculty. You will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 7. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the college.

Applicants should be qualified to SVQ level 3/SCQF level 7 in the relevant vocational area, or hold the highest level qualification in the relevant discipline to the subject area being taught and have extensive relevant industrial experience in electrical installation, as well as a good working knowledge of electrical systems. Applicants must hold a current approved electrical installation grade card. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the sector is preferable.

Candidates that have been selected for interview will be required to prepare and deliver a 10-minute micro teaching class lesson and undertake a competency-based interview.
