The Role
Monday to Friday 4:30-8:30pm, Saturday am 9-12.
Are you someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, keeping things organised and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes? As our Resource and Music Centre Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of music education across Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen. You'll be the friendly face of our evening Music Centres and Saturday morning sessions, acting as the first point of contact for students, parents and visitors. Alongside overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our centres, you'll manage instrument and equipment stock, coordinate resources across multiple locations, and help ensure that young people have everything they need to thrive on their musical journey.
About You
You are a practical, organised and proactive individual who takes pride in getting things done and helping others. You enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming experience for every parent, student and visitor who comes through our doors. Whether you're managing stock, maintaining accurate records, supporting centre activities or responding to enquiries at the reception desk, you have a keen eye for detail and a positive, can-do approach. You'll be comfortable taking responsibility for the safe opening and closing of sites, ensuring buildings are secure and ready for use. Working independently when required and collaboratively as part of a team, you'll help create a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where young musicians can flourish.
