Vehicle Technician – Bromley

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a modern independent garage in Bromley. Formal qualifications are not essential, but applicants must have solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, plus every other Saturday. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults
• Complete occasional clutch replacements when required
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic
• Strong servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repair experience
• Confident completing routine mechanical repairs independently
• Formal automotive qualifications are not essential
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first approach
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Right to work in the UK
