Locum Consultant Anaesthetist (Ophthalmology)

The post is based at Moorfields Eye Hospital City Road and include work at satellites (St. Anns, Stratford, Northwick Park, Ealing, and Potters Bar). The post holders will be expected to work flexibly to facilitate service provision when colleagues are absent. All procedures are done as a day case. The lack of many services that would be found in a general hospital means that the anaesthetic service is more than usual relied upon for perioperative patient care. In addition to clinical duties, the new appointee would be expected to participate in departmental activities including management, teaching and audit.
