To independently perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms in accordance with departmental protocols. Write comprehensive clinical reports in a timely manner and escalate any new findings for clinical review. Manage own CPD including echocardiography re-accreditation Establish and maintain good working relationships with all members of the organisation. Maintain patient confidentiality in line with Trust policies. Actively participate in meetings Ensure that all equipment is in working order and promptly report faults without delay. Evaluate and assess new equipment prior to purchase in collaboration with the Echo lead. Demonstrate an understanding of the health and safety risks associated with echocardiography, particularly the ergonomic challenges encountered during scanning, and consistently apply appropriate techniques and safe working practices to minimise the risk of musculoskeletal injury to oneself.
