Head of Specialist Community Nursing

To provide strategic, professional and clinical leadership for the Hospice Specialist Community Nursing Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, effective and responsive specialist palliative and end-of-life care across the community. The post holder will lead the development of community nursing services, promote clinical excellence, assure quality and governance, and work collaboratively with local health and social care partners to support delivery of integrated palliative and end-of-life care. The Head of Specialist Community Nursing will provide professional leadership to the specialist nursing workforce and work with the Specialist Community Nursing Team Leader to ensure effective operational delivery of services. The post holder will contribute to organisational strategy, service transformation and system-wide developments within palliative and end-of-life care.
