Lead the Future of a Diverse and Dynamic Estate
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Lead Estates Manager to join our Estates leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and maintaining a large and complex educational estate.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished estates or facilities management professional who thrives on leading high-performing teams, driving change, managing large-scale contracts, and delivering excellent customer-focused services across a multi-site environment.
As Lead Estates Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of estates services while helping to shape long-term estate development plans that support our organisational ambitions and student experience.
About the Role
Working closely with the Assistant Director of Estates and senior stakeholders, you will
- Lead the delivery of estates and facilities services across multiple sites.
- Manage and oversee Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts, ensuring exceptional service standards, KPI performance and statutory compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of the Estates Strategy, including capital projects, refurbishments, acquisitions and estate improvements.
- Drive service excellence across maintenance, cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, waste management and caretaking functions.
- Provide leadership to estates teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage revenue and capital budgets, ensuring effective financial control and value for money.
- Champion health, safety, compliance and sustainability initiatives across the estate.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and external partners.
