The Role

We are seeking a passionate, experienced Reception/KS1 Primary School Teacher who is ready to go above and beyond to ensure that every child thrives. You will bring a strong understanding of teaching in an inner-city context and a relentless belief in what children can achieve—regardless of their starting point. Your teaching will reflect rigour, creativity, and the belief that excellence is for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, knowledge-rich lessons that challenges and support all learners
  • Set and maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and effort
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Use assessment intelligently to inform teaching and ensure progress
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and shared professional excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Significant experience teaching in an urban or inner-city primary setting
  • A deep belief that every child can succeed, with no excuses
  • A commitment to the ethics of excellence—striving for high standards in all aspects of school life
