Start Date
ASAP. The Xavier Catholic Education Trust (Xavier CET) are looking to appoint a Central Finance Manager to provide financial management to a portfolio of primary schools. Acting as the bridge between schools and central finance team, the role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial accounts and working across Trust systems to deliver high-quality financial reporting and planning. Working in partnership with Headteachers and school leaders to support informed decision making and ensure the best use of resources, while ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant with a passion for delivering high quality results in all aspects of finance. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Relevant accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, CIMA or equivalent) or significant equivalent experience.Experience of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.Excellent customer-facing skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organisational skills; managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
