If so, Horizon Care and Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at our Olympus School based in South Croydon.Olympus is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls aged 11-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs.Situated in a peaceful area on the edge of ancient woodland, Olympus features co-regulation rooms on both floors, a sensory activity room, breakout classrooms, a library, a science laboratory, a computer room, and one-to-one spaces.There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone believe in themselves, have the confidence to celebrate their own uniqueness and achieve success that is personal to them.

What you’ll get to do

Assisting students in their educational and social development.Provide support inside and outside of the classroom, so they can fully engage in a wide range of activities.Help to set up activities for students, using technology or adjusting the environment to suit their needs.Support teachers, engaging with students, providing learning support, and reacting to situations in the classroom in a positive, non-disruptive manner.

Working 1
