Store Manager - Guildford

The Store Manager is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day operation of a busy high‑street retail store specialising in cards, gifts and partyware. The role involves taking full ownership of the store, driving performance, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high operational standards. The Store Manager leads a small team, manages KPIs, and maintains a safe, well‑presented and commercially effective store environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the team to deliver strong performance and customer service

Drive sales and achieve store targets

Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and safety

Recruit, train and develop staff to support store performance

Plan and prioritise daily operations effectively

Ensure compliance with company procedures, including cash handling

Deliver excellent customer service and represent the store professionally
