Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in Horley. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning

-

Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

-

Provide tailored support to individuals or small groups of students

-

Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

-

Support the class teacher in managing classroom activities and behaviour

-

Maintain open communication with parents and staff about student progress

Requirements

-

Experience working with children, preferably with SEN students

-

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-

Ability to work as part of a team and independently

-

A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach

-

Experience with classroom management is beneficial

-

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
