About the Role
This is a full-time, term-time-only position where you will play a vital role in supporting students across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. We need an enthusiastic and patient individual to assist the class teacher, create a positive learning environment, and provide crucial support to pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience with SEN is highly desirable, as you may be working one-on-one or with small groups.
Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

Provide one-on-one or small group support, especially for pupils with SEN.

Help prepare classroom materials and displays.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to meet students' needs.
What We're Looking For

Experience working in a primary school setting (paid or voluntary).

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience or an understanding of various additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language).

A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
