This is an excellent opportunity for GPs looking for flexible portfolio work in a unique, professionally rewarding and clinically varied setting. Working in prison healthcare offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to people who often experience significant health inequalities, complex physical and mental health needs, substance misuse issues, trauma, and barriers to accessing routine healthcare.
