We are arguably, the best, fish curer & smokers in the UK supplying The Ritz, Fortnum & Mason, Michelin Star chefs and other top tier restaurants with our smoked fish. We produce it all from a railway arch in Hackney - are you local to us?
At Secret Smokehouse, you’ll work directly in and as part of the production team and kitchen. Always maintaining high hygiene standards in the creation of ready to eat products.
As a Commis Chef kitchen & production assistant, you are expected to
⁃
Assist in production
curing, smoking, pin-boning, slicing and packing of smoked fish (training provided!). We also produce fish cakes, fish pies and loads of smoked salmon bagels.

⁃ Willing to learn
⁃ Work well as a team
⁃ Basic kitchen skills
⁃ Work in an organised and efficient manner,
⁃ Maintaining high hygiene standards,
⁃ Punctual

Depending on the age & experience hourly rate vary. Each individual application will be looked at on a case by case and discussed at the interview stage.
