More2Kidbrooke has a fantastic full-time Nursery Practitioner opportunity available for an enthusiastic and versatile Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioner in our group rooms.

This is a golden opportunity to join our growing team at More2Kidbrooke, our beautiful nursery located at 25 Ignatius Sancho Road, SE3 9NJ. Opened earlier this year, the nursery is just a 3-minute walk from Kidbrooke Railway Station and benefits from excellent local transport links.

• A valid Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB or equivalent)
• No more than a one-hour commute to Kidbrooke

Responsibilities of the

Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner

• To act as a key worker and provide care for a small group of children
• Using your knowledge of the EYFS, help plan daily activities and provide suitable play and learning opportunities
• To write learning journeys for your key children and contribute to room planning
• To ensure children develop and learn in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment
• To monitor children’s progress and share information about their development with parents and carers
• To carry out all duties associated with caring for your key group and supporting the daily nursery routine

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• Previous experience working within a childcare setting
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, child protection procedures and health and safety requirements
• Food hygiene certificate or willingness to complete one
• Valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate or willingness to complete training

Working Hours

You will be working 4 days per week (7.30am – 6.00pm) with one weekday off.
