Equipment library Assistant

To ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the Clinical engineering department. To assist in the promotion of ward staff awareness of and monitor the adherence to departmental procedures Including the need to keep equipment on charge, to decontaminate after use and to release equipment after use rather than holding on to it. To assist the Equipment Library Manager (ELM) to liaise with the Tissue Viability Nurse regarding the distribution of Negative Pressure wound therapy Pumps (VAC) To assist the ELM with the distribution of the Palliative Care Team's T34 Syringe drivers To assist the Lead Engineer and department & ward staff to gather information on operational problems relating to the service, and to deal effectively with issues arising during periods of equipment shortage.
