Specialist Dentist in Special Care Dentistry

This is post for a Specialist in Special Care Dentistry (1.0 WTE). The appointment is with the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is based at Liverpool University Dental Hospital. The post holder will be expected to work under the line management of the Clinical Director and Divisional Medical Director. The postholder will be expected to engage in their own continuing professional development and to provide continuing dental education for other staff. The post holder will help to foster good relationships between the Dental Hospital and General Dental Practitioners, Community Dental Service and Primary Care Trusts and other health care providers. The post has an important role in supporting teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students and StRs. The appointee will be engaged in teaching and training of dentists and DCPs in training.
