About this role
We are currently looking for an experienced
Assistant Site Manager to join a
respected and established housebuilder on a busy timber frame housing development in Congleton.
This is an ongoing opportunity for a strong Assistant Site Manager with a solid new build housing background, working closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of the development.
You will need to be confident with
- Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades on site
- Monitoring progress against the build programme and ensuring works stay on schedule
- Carrying out regular site walks and quality checks
- Ensuring health & safety standards, RAMS and site procedures are followed
- Managing deliveries, materials and site logistics
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and other site teams
- Helping to maintain build quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standards
- Assisting with site paperwork, inspections and reporting
- Taking responsibility for the site and supporting the wider management team when required
Requirements
- Previous Assistant Site Manager experience within housebuilding
- Timber frame experience is advantageous

- Strong knowledge of site health & safety and construction procedures
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively within a busy site environment
