Consultant in Medical Oncology

The post holder will work with consultant colleagues to help provide the breast cancer service for patients in North East London. The service also covers East London with referrals from Whipps Cross, Homerton and Newham Hospitals with non-surgical care of patients shared with medical oncology colleagues. It is expected that the post holder will actively participate in recruitment to and development of research studies related to their clinical interests To provide, with colleagues, clinical care and supervision of patients attending the Paget Oncology Chemotherapy Day Unit. To advise and treat patients with oncological emergencies from Barts Health NHS Trust and also Homerton NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will contribute to the training and education of oncology trainees and also undergraduates and non-medical personnel
