Pathway Coordinator
Band 4
The Pathway Coordinator provides comprehensive business administration and coordinationsupport to ensure patients progress smoothly through outpatient and diagnostic care pathways. The post holder is the key liaison between clinical teams, administrative colleagues, diagnostic services and external partners as required, coordinating the timely booking, tracking and monitoring of appointments, investigations and results in line with agreed pathways, RTT requirements and standard operating procedures.

The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients’ pathway of care. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge,
ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
