Assistant Psychologist Band 4 - Croydon CLDT
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time assistant psychologist to join Croydon Community Learning Disabilities Team (CLDT). We are looking for an enthusiastic psychology graduate committed to making a difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities in Croydon.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work with adults who have intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma histories, behavioural or mental health challenges. Each day will bring new opportunities to apply a range of skills, whether you’re using CBT, guiding clients through mindfulness practices, or working with a variety of therapeutic models such as narrative, systemic therapies, PBS, third wave, CFT, or trauma-informed care.

- To assist the Psychology and Behaviour Support Services in the delivery of a specialist applied psychology service in Croydon CLDT.
- To provide clinical work under the direct guidance, close clinical and professional supervision of a practitioner psychologist.
- To assist in clinically related administration, development and completion of audits and/or research projects, collection and analysis of data, teaching and service development work.
- To work following clinical and professional guidelines, policies and procedures of the service, while closely supervised and regularly seeking help from clinical/professional supervisor or manager.
