Teaching Assistant

Bridgeway Federation, which compromises of Broadway Infant School and The Ridge Junior School wish to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant. This role is based at the Junior school in KS2.We are looking for someone with an interest in SEND and in supporting children to achieve and grow regardless of barriers. Our children need someone passionate, dedicated and nurturing to embrace their needs and help them meet their targets. The role will involve working with one pupil, who holds an EHCP. This successful candidate will work in Year 5 and support the child in class, with interventions and support them at lunch time. This is a temporary post that will end when funding ceases or the child leaves the school.As a SEN Teaching Assistant within The Ridge Junior School, you’ll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with professional development, training, and career progression opportunities available.The successful candidate will work closely with the Class teacher and SENCo to ensure provision and support is appropriate and tailored for the child.This post is term time only plus 5 INSET days.Working pattern - 20.5 hours per week 4 days per week - 9.15am to 1.45pm (including a 30min unpaid break)1 day per week - 9.15am to 2.15pm (including a 30min unpaid break)This is a temporary role until 31/08/2028 or when the child leaves the school.Interviews will be held on Wednesday 16th of September
