Mondays to Fridays from 8
40am to 3.00pm with unpaid 45 minutes tea and lunch break. This is a term time only contract commencing ASAP. Under the direction and supervision of the class teacher core responsibilities include:
Working on a one to one basis as a Special Needs Assistant across KS2Following the instructions of the class teacher and SENCOPlanning and prioritising tasks
Clarifying and explaining instructions Communicating effectivelyMotivating pupils to learn
Organising the learning environment
Key Accountabilities will be
Assisting in the delivery of day to day learning activities
Discussing with and reporting back to teacher on the planning and assessment of the pupil’s work
Organising and maintaining the learning environment
Working as part of a team
Maintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
Understanding and applying school policiesThe Special Needs Assistant may be required to undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the class teacher.We offer a lovely setting, excellent facilities and resources, supportive colleagues and enthusiastic children.
