About the Role

We are working with an FE College in Surrey who are looking for an Electrical Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Electrical Installation programmes and maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.

Support lecturers and students during practical Electrical Installation sessions

-

Prepare tools, equipment and materials for workshop activities

-

Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all areas meet health and safety requirements

-

Assist with stock control, ordering materials and general workshop organisation

What we are looking for

-

Previous experience within Electrical Installation or a related electrical environment

-

Good practical knowledge of electrical tools, equipment and workshop procedures

-

An understanding of health and safety within a practical learning environment

-

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
