Hays are recruiting for a permanent Production Scheduler role for a leading manufacturing firm based in Middleton.

Your new role

Your new role will involve developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines. You will coordinate production plans across manufacturing, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics departments. You will monitor production capacity, labour availability, and machine utilisation to optimise workflow. Your role will also involve prioritising manufacturing orders based on customer demand, deadlines, and business requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will have a background in manufacturing or FMCG. You will have experience using SAP and MRP Planning experience. You will be resilient, forward-thinking and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where things can change at the last minute, and you will need to think on your feet.
