Triumph Consultants are looking for a Private Rented Sector Enabling Officer to deliver the placement of homeless households or those threatened with homelessness into the private rented sector. Contract is for 3 months in Berkshire.

Key requirements

3-5 years PRS or Housing Options experience

Experience working with landlords and letting agents

Experience of delivering operational services within a local authority, registered provider, private or public sector consultancy, government agency, charitable body or private sector landlord.

Knowledge of the social housing environment, and the statutory duties of a local authority with respect to housing and homelessness.

Key responsibilities

To proactively manage a case load of households requiring a move into the private rented sector.

Move households from waiting lists into private rented accommodation

Source suitable private rented accommodation

Conduct property visits and affordability assessments

Unless the DBS requirement stated above is for a Basic Disclosure, your DBS must be either through us or be accompanied by a subscription to the DBS updating service.
