As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking an experienced Procurement & Business Support Officer to oversee ingredient sourcing, stock management, food quality assurance, and UK supplier relations.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Procurement Systems & Commercial Negotiation
Manage and optimize the procurement framework for food and beverage supplies, negotiating commercial terms, pricing structures, and vendor agreements with primary UK and overseas suppliers.
2.
Contractual Administration & SLA Governance
Draft, review, and administer commercial supply contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monitoring vendor performance against contractual metrics and delivery standards.
3.
Operational Efficiency & Cost-Reduction Analysis
Analyze procurement data, supply chain workflows, and stock turnover metrics to evaluate operational methods and produce strategic reports detailing cost-reduction and margin-improvement recommendations.
4. Supply
Chain Interrelationships & Stock Optimization
Assess the operational interrelationships between store inventory, storage capacity, and supplier lead times, establishing optimized replenishment systems to eliminate waste and prevent operational disruption during peak demand.
5. Regulatory
Compliance & Quality System Audit
Oversee vendor compliance audits and quality assurance procedures for incoming goods, ensuring operational alignment with UK food safety standards (HACCP/FSA) and organizational risk-management policies.
6.
Cross-Functional Process Alignment
Evaluate cross-departmental workflows between store operations and central procurement, aligning supply schedules with seasonal business planning, menu costings, and operational targets.
