A leading Health & Safety Consultancy are seeking a experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of to be a part of a long-standing team, offering exposure throughout the construction industry working with a range of contractors nationwide. This Health & Safety Advisor will play a key part within their existing Health & Safety team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

The role of Health & Safety Advisor

As Health & safety Advisor you will be expected to oversee various sites throughout the region, including education, healthcare, MOD & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions. Traditionally working across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey. The ideal candidate will come with a H&S background and preferably with previous onsite experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to diversify and develop their career within the construction industry.

Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor

  • Oversee the role out and enforcement of policies & procedures are met & maintained across sites.
  • Regularly visit sites carrying out audits alongside offering training and support where required, documenting via regular reports.
  • Within this role you will be required to assist with projects and meetings from pre-con stage through to completion & handover.

Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor

  • Relevant NEBOSH certification, preferably a Chartered member of IOSH.
  • Strong understanding of HSQE legislation's and best practice.
  • Self-motivated and driven attitude with the ability to motivate, teach and train others.
