About this role
A new Teaching Assistant opportunity has become available at a school in Guildford to start in September.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include

Supporting children with SEN 1
1 or in small groups, as well as leading interventions
- Assisting in assessing children’s progress and providing feedback
- Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Acting as a role model and ensuring children are kind to their peers
A key part of this Teaching Assistant role will be assisting with literacy and numeracy, ensuring children are working towards their targets. You’ll also establish good rapport with colleagues and parents with the common goal of ensuring children achieve to their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school with dedicated sensory spaces and modern facilities. There are also public transport routes nearby and green spaces, ideal for a quick stroll after work.
Working as a Teaching Assistant, the hours will be 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday and likely to last until at least July 2027 with the potential to become permanent at a later date.
