Rough Sleeper Resettlement Officer

About this role

This is an ideal role for a tenacious person, who is passionate about making a difference for residents. The post holder will support Rough Sleepers into settled private rented accommodation, and other suitable properties.

You will ensure all private rented sector accommodation procured is of the size, type and location required by prospective applicants, complies with all health and safety & planning regulations and is appropriate for the clients.

This is a 12 month, fixed term role, with the potential for extension, subject to business need. The role is mainly front facing with residents , with limited home working and some days in the office, according to business need.

Candidate Profile

You will be able to work under pressure and manage a busy workload, able to prioritise and organise your work so that customer care is never compromised.

Work flexibly and provide occasional out of hours visit in conjunction with outreach service, at least once a week.

Case coordinate in a multi-agency environment ensuring clients are signposted and able to access support from relevant services.

A full valid driving licence is essential, and you must have access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
