About this role
Job Summary The GP will manage a varied caseload, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a primary care setting. Responsibilities include consultations, home visits, prescribing, and contributing to the overall clinical and operational functioning of the practice.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties
Conduct in person, telephone and online consultations, home visits, and health assessments. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe in line with the practice formulary; issue repeat and acute prescriptions. Maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Develop care plans, provide health education, and refer patients when necessary.
Practice Involvement
Participate in audits, significant event analyses, and quality improvement. Contribute to the maintenance of electronic health records. Engage in team meetings, clinical governance, and training events.
Compliance & Confidentiality
Adhere to practice policies on confidentiality, data protection, safeguarding, and prescribing. Handle patient and practice information with strict confidentiality. Health &

Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Follow infection control policies and lead by example in safe practice. Use PPE appropriately and train others when needed.
