About this role

Reception and service Lead and support the reception team, ensuring a welcoming and professional service. Coordinate reception cover and respond to operational issues. Handle reception-related complaints and concerns calmly and professionally. Monitor feedback and identify opportunities to improve the patient/customer experience. Keep internal navigation, signage and information up to date. Assist with recruitment of new reception staff. Provide training and induction for new starters. Conduct appraisals and return-to-work interviews. Digital and IT Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day IT and digital issues. Coordinate IT problems and liaise with external IT support when required. Support software upgrades, new systems and digital improvement projects. Manage phones, computers and other IT equipment. Set up IT equipment, accounts and software for new starters. Provide practical support to colleagues with IT and software queries. Operations and data Manage early notifications of sickness/absence and update relevant sessions, rotas and systems. Carry out data searches and provide accurate information to support operational needs. Support the implementation of new processes and systems. Review new technology to improve efficiency and service delivery. Data security Promote high standards of confidentiality, data protection and information security. Support appropriate user access and permissions across systems. Ensure confidential information is handled and stored securely. Report and escalate any suspected data-security incidents or breaches. Encourage good data-security practices across the team. Liaise with the external clinical safety officer and update practice documents.
