Role Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Venue Supervisor to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of events and venue operations. The successful candidate will support management, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service and safety standards are maintained throughout all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily venue operations during events and opening hours

Support and coordinate security, bar, and floor staff

Ensure health & safety and licensing procedures are followed

Assist with crowd management and customer issues when necessary

Handle incidents professionally and escalate issues appropriately

Conduct venue checks before, during, and after events

Support opening and closing procedures

Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for guests

Liaise with performers, DJs, promoters, and external contractors

Complete reports and communicate operational updates to management

Requirements

Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, nightlife, or events preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and organised in fast-paced environments

Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
