Job purpose

To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer

Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living tasks and accessing the local community for 12.5 hours per week.

Main duties

Social duties

 keep in touch and socialise with family and friends.

 support to attend appointments.

 Support to access the local community.

 Support to keep on top of post and emails.

Personal care

support with personal care when required.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements

Someone with previous support worker experience.

Must be an organised individual and be able to support client with emails and admin.

Due to the nature of this role including personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.

Hours of work

12.5 hours per week

Rate of pay

£13.85 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience

Essential

 Previous support worker experience

 Good organisational skills

 Computer literate

 Good communicator

 Confidentiality

 Good at building relationships

 Driving licence preferred but not essential

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
