Job summary

To gain comprehensive experience in

o managing complex glaucoma in a tertiary referral service o performing a full range of laser treatments for glaucoma o performing glaucoma filtration surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and complex cataract surgery o supervision of allied health professionals working within the glaucoma service and junior doctors training within the department of ophthalmology To support the provision of the ophthalmology service including glaucoma clinics, laser clinics, surgery, eye emergency clinic and ward referrals. To contribute to the development overall of the glaucoma and ophthalmology service. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care. To work with medical, nursing and managerial colleagues to ensure the high performance in outpatients.
