About this role

The GP Partner will

Provide a high standard of evidence-based, patient-centred general practice to registered patients. Undertake face-to-face, telephone and other appropriate consultations. Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. Provide appropriate clinical management and follow-up of patients. Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with national and local guidance. Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and other healthcare professionals. Provide appropriate home visits and care for housebound patients where required. Participate in the practice's duty doctor/on-call arrangements. Support the practice's approach to urgent and same-day care.Participate in clinical audits, significant event reviews and quality improvement activity. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. Maintain professional standards in accordance with GMC requirements and relevant NHS guidance.

Partners work collaboratively to

Contribute to Partnership meetings and collective decision-making. Help shape the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the practice. Work closely with the Practice Manager on operational management, workforce planning and business development. Contribute to financial and business planning. Support recruitment, workforce development and succession planning. Identify and develop opportunities for service improvement and innovation. Maintain high standards of clinical care, professionalism and patient experience. Support a positive culture across the whole multidisciplinary team.
