Vocational Tutor in Creative and Digital Technologies

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, versatile and digitally confident Vocational Tutor in Digital & Creative Technologies to join our team and deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning across a broad range of creative and digital disciplines.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a diverse skill set who can work confidently across traditional subject boundaries. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and learning across areas including Art & Design, ICT and Esports, using digital technologies to support creative practice, technical development and vocational learning.This is a permanent, full-time position at our Guilford College campus.What do you need to be successful as a vocational trainer at Activate Learning?We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a combination of digital, creative and technical skills to the role, alongside the ability to engage and inspire learners with different interests, abilities and career aspirations. We would welcome applications from applicants that have skills within Photography, Printmaking and Digital Skills within the Adobe Suite. As well, the knowledge of managing our Digital Skills Centre, which incorporates a Podcasting Room and Music Studio.It would be vital that the applicant be flexible within their workflow, between multiple subject areas and specialisms.What Activate Learning offer to new Teaching staff?Here at Activate Learning, we recognise the importance of a good induction when joining a new organisation.
