Personnel Selection Recruitment are assisting an established organisation based within Andover Hampshire UK. We are looking for to recruit a Machine Operative to join its existing operations team. This is an opportunity to become part of a supportive and professional working environment with full training provided.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting who is looking to build on their practical skills within a structured production environment.

Role Overview

The main purpose of the role is to support production activity by processing and finishing products using a range of equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for working to required safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing positively to the wider team.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Ability to work to strict safety and quality standards

Strong attention to detail

Good problem-solving ability

Ability to maintain concentration throughout repetitive or process-driven tasks

Confidence following instructions and production plans accurately

A flexible and positive approach to work

Good numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Reliability and good timekeeping

Training and Support

Full training will be provided on a variety of production equipment and tools relevant to the role. Ongoing support will also be available to help develop skills and knowledge within the position.
