Job Description

A friendly and reliable Personal Assistant is required to support an adult living in Eccles through a Direct Payment. This role does not involve personal care, as this is covered by another Personal Assistant.

The successful applicant will provide practical support at home and assist with social activities and appointments. Hours can be flexible and may include regular set days or varying shifts, depending on mutual agreement.

The position would suit someone who is flexible, dependable, and enjoys supporting someone to remain independent while also providing companionship.

Roles and Responsibilities

Light household duties, including tidying and cleaning.

Making and changing the bed.

Preparing or assisting with lunch or an evening meal.

Accompanying or transporting to GP, hospital, and other appointments.

Providing companionship and support with social activities such as cinema visits, theatre trips, or going out for lunch.

Prompting and checking that medication has been taken.
