Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent long-term opportunity for a professional and experienced Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming private household based in South Oxfordshire. The family, consisting of two adults and two young children, are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive household professional who will take pride in maintaining high domestic standards and supporting the smooth running of the home.
This is a live-out, full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., depending on the successful candidate’s availability and preference. The family offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
The property is well maintained and requires a professional housekeeper who is highly organised, attentive to detail, and confident managing the overall presentation and cleanliness of the home independently. Duties will include daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, floor care, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and ensuring all household areas remain clean, tidy, and well organised at all times.
The role will also involve preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children and family approximately 2–3 times per week. Cooking responsibilities will remain relatively light and flexible depending on the family’s schedule and requirements.

Fluency in English is essential. Driving is not required for the role aside from the candidate’s personal commute.

Housekeeper duties may include
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the household
Performing full housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and ironing
Managing the overall presentation and upkeep of the home
Maintaining clean and organised kitchen, bathroom, and family areas
Tidying after children and maintaining orderly shared spaces
Preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children and family approximately 2–3 times per week
Assisting with grocery organisation and kitchen upkeep
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household
Working independently and proactively within the home environment
Requirements for this
Full-Time Housekeeper job
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Housekeeper in private households
Fluent in English
