About this role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident
Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager to join a
150-unit traditional housebuilder in Altrincham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with a strong background in
new build housing specifically traditional build to join an established developer on a
3-month contract.
The Role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
You will be involved in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, maintaining health & safety standards and helping to ensure the development remains on programme.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an
Assistant Site Manager within new build housing

Traditional build experience is essential
- Experience working on residential developments
- Valid
SMSTS or SSSTS
- Valid
CSCS
- Valid
First Aid
- Good knowledge of health & safety, quality and programme management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to effectively support the Site Manager and wider site team
Candidates must have previous new build housing experience and a strong understanding of traditional build construction.
