Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism and looking to make a meaningful difference within education?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Autism school in Hayes, supporting pupils aged 5-19. This rewarding opportunity involves working closely with children and young people with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop positive social and emotional outcomes within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The school provides a highly supportive specialist setting, focused on personalised learning and tailored interventions that enable pupils to thrive both academically and socially.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
- Support pupils with Autism both inside and outside the classroom

Provide tailored 1
1 and small-group support to meet individual learning needs
- Assist with pupil engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
- Support pupils in accessing learning through structured and personalised approaches
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and wider school teams to promote pupil progress and wellbeing

- Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
