- Provide personalised support to SEND students, adapting learning materials and strategies as needed
- Deliver targeted interventions and small-group activities to reinforce key skills and concepts
- Collaborate closely with class teachers, the SEND coordinator, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
- Actively participate in SEND-related training and professional development opportunities
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that empowers SEND students to thrive
- Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills in supporting SEND learners
- Knowledge of various SEND-related needs and effective teaching strategies
- Commitment to inclusive education and a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field would be highly advantageous
