Job Description for Business Development Manager (BD01)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this privately owned and expanding Design Consultancy Company to take responsibility for Business Development activities.
The company is engaged in designing the large Power infrastructure projects which has a big potential in the UK.
As a responsible Business Development Manager, you will report to the Director and will be responsible for Business development activities.
You will hold an Engineering qualification; minimum degree level. You will have a broad knowledge of power engineering plant and equipment (i.e. Transformers, Switchgear, cables, SCADA and protection schemes etc.), will have a good track record of taking responsibility for Business development activities with big clients and will be able to demonstrate effective man management experience with engineering staff.
You will have a great communication and inter-personal skills to manage clients pre and post contract awards.
You will have proficiency in computers and for following software;
Microsoft Office suite (required)
Electrical design software like AMTECH, ETAP or NePLAN
You should have a minimum of 5 years working experience.
You will be joining a company who provide a complete, comprehensive and cost-effective service to users of high-voltage distribution systems up to 400kV.
