About the role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable cleaner to take full responsibility for the daily cleanliness and presentation of an upmarket pub in a quiet residential area. Standards must be consistently high — the role is suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their work and is comfortable working independently before service. The 18 hours can be filled by one person or shared between two.
Key responsibilities
Full cleaning of the pub interior, including bar, dining and customer areas
Toilets cleaned, stocked and presented to a high standard every shift
Vacuum all and mop hard floors daily
Wipe down tables, surfaces, skirting boards and high-touch points
Report any maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor
Manage cleaning supplies and flag low stock in good time
Essential
Proven cleaning experience, ideally in hospitality
Eye for detail and pride in presentation
Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised
Discreet and professional around residents and customers
