This is an exciting opportunity for a post Core Training Doctor interested in a career in Acute/Respiratory medicine to work alongside a rapidly growing service supporting Respiratory patients in hospital.

1. Integral member of a ward based respiratory team, contributing to the delivery of daily board rounds, daily consultant led ward rounds, MDTs and jobs, in conjunction with the respiratory team which include a respiratory consultant, physician’s assistant, FY1s, respiratory registrars, specialist nurses and a specialist pharmacist.
2. Share in holding the respiratory bleep and reviewing respiratory ward referrals from other inpatient teams, with support and supervision from specialist respiratory registrars and consultants.
3. There is opportunity for interested individuals to carry out supervised respiratory outpatient clinics and pleural intervention.
