The Junior Clinical Fellow posts advertised combine clinical work and research opportunities. The post-holders are expected to spend significant time in research. Projects may be purely clinically based or may have a laboratory component within the laboratories of the Institute of Liver Studies. The positions are for one year initially, but it may be possible to extend a contract depending on satisfactory progress and mutual agreement. There are opportunities for MD or MS. These standards must be strictly complied with at all times. The post holder has a general duty of care for their own health, safety and well-being and that of work colleagues, visitors and patients within the hospital, in addition to any specific risk management or clinical governance accountabilities associated with this post. You are therefore required to check this regularly and to deal with such communication promptly.
