Afterschool Nanny in Blackheath, Job ID J22216

A lovely family based in Blackheath, London, is looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their baby and school-age child. Someone caring, engaging, and proactive would be ideal for this role. The nanny will be responsible for school-age childcare, including supporting the child's safety, well-being, and development, organising age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, and maintaining a consistent routine. The role will also include preparing meals and keeping the child's areas clean and organised. A Mandarin speaker is a bonus.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 15:30 to 18:30

Duties include

ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development

supporting the children's daily routine

organising interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings

helping with homework and educational activities

reading with the children and encouraging early literacy

bathing and maintaining the children's hygiene

preparing nutritious meals and snacks

keeping the children's bedroom and play areas clean and organised

The family is looking for someone who can start immediately.
